2. What data we process and why
Email correspondence
If you write to us, we process the data you provide in your message (e.g. first and last name, email address, company name, the content of the message) in order to answer your enquiry and continue the correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where the message concerns concluding or performing a contract, also Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Server logs
Each time you visit the website, the server automatically records basic technical information such as the IP address, the date and time of the visit, the browser type and the address of the page visited. We process it to ensure the operation, security and stability of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies
The website does not use analytics cookies, marketing cookies or any other tracking tools. We do not use external fonts or scripts loaded from third-party servers. The website itself does not store any cookies on your device.
If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before they are launched.
4. Recipients of data
Data may be shared with entities that provide services necessary to run the website and to communicate — in particular the hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc., USA – www.cloudflare.com) and the email providers (cyber_Folks S.A., seated in Poznań, which provides the Zenbox service, and Google Ireland Limited). These entities process data under data processing agreements and only in accordance with our instructions. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers of data outside the EEA
Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and delivers the website through a global network of data centres, so data (in particular server logs) may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Transfers to the USA take place on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare is certified; transfers to other countries take place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses included in Cloudflare’s data processing agreement.
The email provider Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. This is done using the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses or a European Commission adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep data
We keep correspondence for as long as necessary to conduct it, and then for the limitation period of potential claims. We keep server logs for 30 days, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, write to kontakt@venusti.pl.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland) or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence, if you believe we process your data unlawfully.
8. Providing data is voluntary
Providing data in correspondence is voluntary, but without it we will not be able to reply to your message. We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not profile your data.
9. Links to other websites
The website contains links to our online shops and other websites. Once you follow them, the privacy rules of those websites apply.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, e.g. due to changes in the law or in the features of the website. The current version is always available on this page.
